What is the corrosion resistance of Hastelloy C276?

Hastelloy C276 is a high-performance nickel-based alloy widely used in harsh environments with excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.
The hardness and strength of alloy C-276 are similar to those of martensitic steel and can be used at relatively high temperatures.
Density: 8.89 g/cm3.
Yield strength: 355-365 MPa.
Ultimate tensile strength: 785-792 MPa.
Elongation at break: 60%.
Hardness: 88HRB.
1. It is corrosion resistant in any solution below 70 degrees Celsius, with a corrosion rate of about 0.1mm/a;
2. The corrosion rate in various hydrochloric acids at room temperature is not higher than 0.1mm/a; it is also less than 0.5mm/a in various hydrochloric acids at 65 degrees Celsius. Whether the hydrochloric acid is oxygenated has a significant impact on the corrosion resistance;
3. The corrosion rate in hydrofluoric acid does not exceed 0.25mm/a, and under the condition of 55% H3PO4+0.8% HF at boiling temperature, the corrosion rate is not greater than 0.75mm/a;
4. All concentrations of dilute nitric acid at room temperature or higher temperatures It is corrosion-resistant in acid, with a corrosion rate of about 0.1mm/a. It is corrosion-resistant in any concentration of chromic acid, organic acid and other mixed liquids at 60-70 degrees Celsius, with corrosion rates less than 0.125mm/a and 0.175mm/a respectively;
5. It is one of the few materials that can resist dry and wet chlorine corrosion, and can be used under dry and wet chlorine exchange corrosion conditions;
6. It can resist high-temperature HF gas corrosion, with a HF gas corrosion rate of 0.04mm/a below 550 degrees Celsius and a corrosion rate of 0.16mm/a at 750 degrees Celsius.
