Polished Inconel 625 exhaust round pipe is a tubular product made from a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy known for its high strength, excellent resistance to high temperatures and aggressive corrosive environments (particularly in chloride-containing media such as seawater), and good fatigue strength. The "polished" surface is achieved through a cold-drawing process, which improves surface finish and dimensional accuracy. The resulting bright, smooth surface is suitable for demanding applications such as high-performance exhaust systems, heat exchangers, and various chemical and marine components.
What is 625 tubing made of?
Alloy 625 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum solid solution-strengthened alloy with a nominal chemical composition of 61% nickel, 22% chromium, and 9% molybdenum. It is commonly referred to by the trade name Inconel 625 and the generic name UNS N06625.
