Nimonic alloy 75 UNS N06075

The Nimonic alloy 75 is a Nickel-Chromium based alloy that comprises 80% nickel, 20% chromium, and with some additions of Carbon and Titanium. Also, this alloy exhibits good corrosion resistance and heat tolerance and provides medium strength at higher temperatures. This alloy came into being as the blades of turbines in the 1940s.

Nimonic 75 is readily used in many industries for its excellent weldability and fabrication properties. It finds uses in aerospace and nuclear industries, along with the other industries involving heat treatments.
