When we deeply explore the chemical composition of Monel K500, it is not difficult to find its exquisite balance: nickel content is between 63.0-70.0%, copper is 27.0-33.0%, and aluminum is just right at 2.30-3.15%. In addition, it also strictly limits the content of other elements, such as iron not exceeding 2.0%, manganese not exceeding 1.5%, carbon, silicon, sulfur and phosphorus not exceeding 0.25% and 0.01%.

In terms of hardness, Monel K500 exhibits excellent Rockwell C hardness (HRC) of 28-34, far exceeding many other high-strength alloys. Its melting point is as high as approximately 1315℃ (2400℉), ensuring stable performance in high temperature environments. Not only that, its maximum operating temperature can reach 1100℃ (2000℉), showing excellent high temperature resistance.

In addition, Monel K500 has an elastic modulus of 180 GPa (26.1×106 psi) and a Poisson's ratio of 0.32, demonstrating excellent mechanical properties. Its density is 8.44 g/cm³ (0.305 lb/in³), making it more efficient in applications with high strength requirements.

Monel K500 also fully complies with American standards ASTM B865, B164, B564, B366, etc., as well as European standards EN 10204-3.1, etc., ensuring its quality excellence and reliability. Its yield strength reaches 379 MPa (55 ksi) (minimum value), the tensile strength is as high as 965 MPa (140 ksi) (minimum value), and the elongation also reaches 20% (minimum value), which fully proves its excellent mechanical properties.
