Inconel625 and 316 stainless steel, which material is better?
Inconel625 is a nickel-based alloy and 316 is a stainless steel. 625 is more expensive than 316 and has better performance.
The alloy is a solid solution strengthened nickel-based deformed high-temperature alloy with molybdenum and niobium as the main strengthening elements. It has excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, good tensile properties and fatigue properties from low temperature to 980 degrees Celsius, and is resistant to salt spray. Stress corrosion in atmosphere. Therefore, it can be widely used in manufacturing aerospace engine parts, aerospace structural components and chemical equipment.
