Inconel 600 plate can be recycled at temperatures up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Alloy 600 plate can also be used at the same 2000 degrees Fahrenheit temperature, with the minor difference that Alloy 600 plate is non-magnetic and easily weldable.
Is Alloy 600 the same as Inconel 600?
Nickel Alloy 600, also marketed as Inconel 600, is a unique nickel-chromium alloy known for its resistance to oxidation at high temperatures. It is highly versatile and can be used in a wide range of applications, from cryogenic temperatures to temperatures as high as 2000°F (1093°C).
