Incoloy 20 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in chemical environments containing sulfuric acid, and has useful corrosion resistance to environments containing chlorides, nitric acid and phosphoric acid. It has good mechanical properties at both room and elevated temperatures.
Alloy 20 is commonly used in applications involving sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and other aggressive chemicals, and in the production of gasoline, solvents, explosives, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, foods and synthetic materials.
