What is Incoloy 925?

Incoloy 08925 (also known as "Alloy 925") is a precipitation-hardened iron-nickel-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, titanium, and aluminum. The alloy has excellent resistance to general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in many aqueous environments, including those containing sulfides and chlorides. Incoloy 925 is used in a variety of applications requiring a combination of high strength and corrosion resistance, such as sour gas wells, oil production equipment, surface and downhole piping components (flanges, valves, fasteners, fittings, shafts), etc.
