Physical Properties
904L Alloy: is a low carbon, high alloy austenitic stainless steel with copper added to give it superior corrosion resistance to conventional chromium-nickel stainless steels, especially in sulfuric, phosphoric, and acetic acid environments.
Fabrication Characteristics
904L Alloy is nonmagnetic in all conditions and has excellent formability and weldability. The austenitic structure also gives this alloy excellent toughness at low temperatures.
