4 series stainless steel coil

4 series SS products are normal in China. 430 stainless steel coil and plate is a ferritic, low-carbon stainless steel. It has good corrosion resistance in mildly corrosive environments and good oxidation resistance at high temperatures.

420 and 430 stainless steel coils have limited weldability and edge welds are not recommended. Our professional factory is equipped with welding platforms, bending equipment, deburring equipment, machining platforms, etc. Our products are not only supplied to the domestic market, but also sold to India, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia and Pakistan. 430 stainless steel coil has excellent polishing properties and is used in a variety of decorative applications.

Processing:

Types 420/430 should be annealed at 1400-1500°F and furnace cooled to 1100°F at 50°F per hour, then air cooled. When weld filler is required, AWS E/ER 308L and 430 are most commonly specified.

forming:

Style 430 is easy to draw and form. Its drawing characteristics are similar to mild steel, but is stronger in the annealed condition and requires stronger tools and more power. Air cooling may be used in place of furnace cooling when annealing thin sections if the annealing temperature does not exceed 1450°F (790°C).

welding:

Type 430 is generally considered weldable by common fusion and resistance techniques. Corrosion: The alloy is resistant to a variety of corrosive media, including nitric acid and many organic acids. It has good processing performance and compressive strength and can be used to produce high-pressure gas pressure vessels with a capacity of less than 500L filled with LPG. Special consideration is required to avoid brittle weld fracture during manufacturing.
