Inconel is an austenitic stainless steel. It is used to produce a variety of products and is classified into different grades based on their inherent properties. One such product is Inconel 600 Plates which are non-magnetic. They are resistant to general corrosion such as pitting and crevice corrosion. In addition, these Nickel Alloy 600 Plates have the ability to be hot or cold formed. They are resistant to stress corrosion and aging in the annealed state as well as in the heavily cold worked state. Thus, UNS N06600 Strips are protected from chloride ion stress corrosion cracking.
