GNEE Inconel UNS N06625 Metal Steel Pickling Plate introduce
Inconel Alloy UNS N06625 Steel Pickling Plate

Inconel 625 pickled plate is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium strengthened alloy (Ni≥58%, Cr20-23%, Mo8-10%, Nb3.15-4.15%). After hot-rolled pickling (HRAP) treatment, the surface is uniformly matte (Ra 0.8-3.2μm), and it performs well in extreme corrosion and high temperature environments. Through the synergistic strengthening effect of molybdenum-niobium, this material has ultra-high strength of 690-1100MPa and elongation of 30-45%. It also has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, and is particularly suitable for reducing media such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid and seawater environments. Pickling treatment not only removes surface oxides, but also significantly improves the quality of welding fusion and subsequent coating adhesion. The plate maintains stable anti-oxidation properties at a high temperature of 982°C and is mainly used in harsh working conditions such as marine engineering (submarine equipment, seawater pipelines), chemical equipment (pickling systems, reactors), aerospace (engine tail nozzles) and nuclear power (nuclear fuel processing components). It is a high-end material solution that requires ultra-high strength, extreme corrosion resistance and good processing performance at the same time. The operating temperature range covers -200°C to +980°C.

Properties of Inconel 625 Alloy
Cold Forming of Inconel 625
Inconel 625 alloy can be cold formed by standard methods. When the material becomes too hard due to cold working, ductility can be restored by process annealing.
Hot Forming of Inconel 625
Hot working can be performed at furnace temperatures up to 2100°F (1149°C). Care should be taken to avoid frictional heat build-up which could result in overheating above 2100°F (1149°C). Inconel 625 becomes very hard at temperatures below 1850°F (1010°C). Workpieces below this temperature should be reheated. Uniform reduction is recommended to avoid the formation of a dual phase grain structure. A finishing reduction of approximately 15/20% is recommended.
Processing of Inconel 625
Inconel 625 alloy is best processed in the annealed condition. Since Inconel 625 alloy is susceptible to work hardening, only low cutting speeds should be used and tool engagement should be maintained at all times. Cutting depths must be sufficient to ensure that contact with previously formed work hardened areas is avoided.
Welding of Inconel 625
Inconel 625 is readily welded by conventional welding processes for austenitic stainless steels, including fusion and resistance methods. Prior to welding, the material should be in the mill annealed condition and thoroughly descaled and cleaned. No preheating is required and no post-weld treatment is required to maintain or restore corrosion resistance.
Heat Treatment of Inconel 625
Hot- or cold-formed parts are typically annealed at 1700°F to 1900°F for a time consistent with thickness; higher temperatures may be used to soften the material for further cold working. Inconel 625 alloy is solution treated at 2000°F to 2200°F. These temperatures are based on metal temperatures for batch operations and may not be applicable for continuous annealing, which typically requires short exposures in the hot zone of a furnace set to higher temperatures. The cooling rate after heating has no significant effect on Inconel 625 alloy.
