Inconel 601 flanges are used as a way to connect piping systems and also allow users to easily clean, inspect, or modify valves, pipes, pumps, and other equipment in that particular piping system. Although blind flanges are often used to test the flow of a medium (i.e., gas or liquid) through a pipe or vessel, their primary function is to seal the end of an opening in a piping system or pressure vessel.
