Hastelloy C-4 alloy round bar is an austenitic low-carbon nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature stability‌. Its main chemical composition includes nickel, chromium, molybdenum and other elements, among which the nickel content is relatively high, which makes it perform well in various corrosive environments‌.
Hastelloy C-4 hot-rolled steel bars can be manufactured and processed by traditional production processes. The workpiece needs to be kept clean and pollution-free before processing.
During the heat treatment process, contact with low-melting-point metals such as sulfur, phosphorus, and lead should be avoided‌. Annealing treatment is required before welding to remove oxide scale, oil stains and various marking traces. A large area of ​​about 25mm on both sides of the weld needs to be polished to a bright metal surface‌.
