Hastelloy C-2000 is a versatile corrosion resistant alloy suitable for a variety of chemical process industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical and flue gas desulfurization systems.
ASTM B574 C-2000 Hastelloy Bars have excellent resistance to uniform corrosion in oxidizing or reducing environments. It resists all acids, especially hydrochloric, sulfuric and hydrofluoric acids, over a wide temperature range, and also resists pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride and other halide solutions.
