Duplex stainless steel pipe(seamless tube and welded tube) can be divided into four types: low alloy, medium alloy , high alloy, and super duplex stainless steel type. The main characteristic of the duplex stainless steel tube is that its yield strength can reach 400-55OMPa, which is twice that of ordinary stainless steel, so it can save materials and reduce equipment manufacturing costs. In terms of corrosion resistance, especially for poor conditions of the medium (such as seawater and high chloride ion content), the resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion, and corrosion fatigue of duplex stainless steels is significantly better than that of ordinary austenite, as good as high-alloy austenitic stainless steels.

Steel Grade:
Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750) is a super duplex stainless steel with 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel designed.
Duplex 2205 (UNS S31803), or Avesta Sheffield 2205 is a ferritic-austenitic stainless steel.
Super Duplex UNS S32760 - is a super duplex stainless steel, so-called due to its higher Chromium and Molybdenum content.
