Tantalum is used to produce a variety of alloys with high melting points, strength and ductility.
By alloying with other metals, it can be used to create carbide tools for metal processing, jet engine parts, chemical processing equipment, nuclear reactors, missile parts, heat exchangers, high-temperature alloys for storage tanks and containers, and more.

Ta2 Tantalum Alloy
Tantalum tungsten (TaW) excels due to its good mechanical properties and excellent corrosion resistance. Tantalum Tungsten is a high-strength metal alloy. It has a high melting point, tensile strength, and corrosion resistance. SAM's tantalum alloys are made using powder metallurgy, where tantalum powder is mixed with alloying elements and filled into molds, compressed at temperatures of up to 2000 bar and then sintered. Ta10W alloy (90% tantalum, 10% tungsten) is one of the most popular alloys. Our Ta10W alloy is therefore particularly suitable for heat exchangers and heating components used in chemical instrument manufacturing.
