ASTM B521 Grade R05252 Tantalum Seamless Pipe
UNS R05252 alloy is a tantalum alloy suitable for annealing conditions. This alloy is widely used in various industries due to its excellent density and corrosion resistance. R05252 alloy is the industry's preferred material for manufacturing high-quality boilers. The alloy exhibits excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, stress crack corrosion and excellent high temperature strength. This grade has lower heat capacity compared to other alloy grades. This grade, also known as ASTM B521 Tantalum, is unalloyed tantalum containing approximately 2.5% tungsten alloy.
