Nickel 200 Alloy Description
Nickel 200 is solid solution strengthened, commercially pure wrought nickel. It has good mechanical properties and excellent resistance to a variety of corrosive environments. Nickel 200 is mainly used in the food processing industry because of its corrosion resistance. It can also be used in applications involving reducing chemicals, caustic alkalis, distilled and natural water, alkaline salt solutions, dry fluorine and synthetic fibers. Depending on the specific product form, Nickel 200 may have different heat treatments and delivery conditions, resulting in different mechanical properties (tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, reduction of area, hardness, etc.).
