Monel Tee is a type of pipe fitting used in plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems. It is made from an alloy of nickel and copper, which makes it incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant. The tee shape allows for branching pipes in the same line, or for connecting three sections of pipe together at 90 degrees angle. Monel tees are commonly used in industrial water systems, chemical processing plants, and oil refineries.
Monel tees come in two varieties – long radius and short radius. Long-radius Monel tees have larger bend angles than short-radius versions, which makes them ideal for higher-pressure applications such as pumps and mainlines. Short-radius Monel tees are better suited to low-pressure applications such as sink drains and smaller water fixtures.
