UNS N08810 is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy having the same basic composition as Incoloy 800, with significantly higher creep rupture strength. The higher strength results from close control of carbon, aluminum and titanium contents in conjunction with a high temp anneal. The 800H modification was to control carbon (0.05 to 0.10%) and grain size to (>ASTM 5) to optimize stress rupture properties.

The UNS N08810 Pipe comes with several characteristics that other 800 series alloy pipes possess. Some of the main characteristics of the IUNS N08810 Pipe are resistance to prolonged exposure to elevated temperature, oxidation, sulfidation, and carburization. The UNS N08810 Pipe is also known for its excellent resistance to high-temperature corrosion. With the addition of carbon and annealing treatment to the Alloy 800H Pipe, its creep and rupture properties enhance above the temperature of 600 degrees C. The ASTM B407 UNS N08810 material possesses high machinability, and hence they can be machined by standard procedures.
