Incoloy 800 is composed using nickel and chromium alloy. This alloy has excellent tensile strength and outstanding resistance to oxidation. These flanges tend to provide carburization properties. This alloy used for flanges is extremely functional as it holds a stable structure, even when exposed to very high temperatures. The higher content of nickel maintains the structure and exhibits excellent ductility. The nickel content also prepares the alloy to fight against resistance to stresses corrosion cracking, scaling, and general corrosion.
