Incoloy 800 Round Bar is a high strength, corrosion resistant bar made from a nickel-chromium alloy that also contains iron, aluminum and titanium. Incoloy 800 Round Bar is used in applications requiring resistance to oxidation, carburization and nitriding, and in high temperature environments.
UNS N08800 Alloy 800 is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy of moderate strength with good resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures. It is particularly useful in high temperature equipment in the petrochemical industry as the alloy does not form brittle sigma phase after prolonged exposure to 1200°F (649°C). Excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking is another important property of Alloy 800.
