Hastelloy C2000 Flange UNS N06200

In comparison to the other Hastelloy alloys, Hastelloy C2000 Flanges were designed to provide more adaptability. In addition to adding a little amount of copper (1.6%), this was accomplished by enhancing the proportion of chromium and molybdenum. C2000 flanges have better temperature capabilities in hydrofluoric, sulfuric, and diluted hydrochloric acids due to the addition of copper. Hastelloy C2000 flanges are a special alloy for securing chemical process equipment under different conditions, including streams contaminated with ferric ions. They combine the outstanding resistance to the oxidizing medium of Hastelloy C276 with superior resistance to non-oxidizing situations.

Hastelloy C2000 lap joint flanges are used for heat treatment applications. They have very little carbon content and high nickel content, which makes them much stronger than any other flanges. It can sustain an acidic environment and the action of halides too. Hastelloy C2000 Flanges never come up with crevice cracking and corrosion, pitting caused due to abrasion, chipping or edge breaking, etc.

Hastelloy C2000 Flanges harden easily as compared to other steels or alloys. It may require several stages of cold treatment. These flanges can be easily welded or formed as they are highly ductile. They are resistant to chloride-bearing factors as well. It is used in industrial applications which have been used in petrochemical plants and heat exchangers.

Hastelloy C2000 Blind Flanges work harden more quickly than the majority of austenitic stainless steels, and they might need to undergo several stages of cold work with anneals in between.
