ASTM B619 is a standard specification for welding nickel and nickel alloy pipes developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), which is applicable to the production of welded nickel alloy pipes.
The main components of Alloy C276 Hastelloy ERW Pipe supplied by GNEE include 59% nickel, 15% chromium, 16% molybdenum, 4% tungsten and 5% iron. It has strong resistance to corrosive media such as chloride, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and hydrofluoric acid.
The welding characteristics of Hastelloy C276 Alloy EFW Pipe include large linear expansion coefficient, high thermal crack sensitivity, and easy thermal cracking during welding, such as solidification cracks, polygonal cracks and high temperature plastic cracks. Therefore, special attention should be paid to controlling the welding process during welding.
